FAQ
Please read the following information before submitting a commission application. It explains our general workflow, scheduling, payment, production, shipping, and after-sales support. Project-specific details will be confirmed in your quotation and commission documents.
Do you accept commissions from minors?
No. We only accept commissions from clients aged 18 or above. For legal and payment reasons, we cannot accept orders or payments from minors.
What is the commission process?
Submit the commission application form.
We will review your application and send the result and quotation by email.
If you accept the quotation, pay the 40% deposit to confirm your commission and enter the production schedule.
Before production, we will confirm the reference redraw, materials, and construction details with you.
Progress updates will be provided at key stages.
After completion, we will take final photos for confirmation.
Pay the remaining 60% balance and shipping cost.
We will arrange shipment and provide the tracking number.
How do I enter the commission queue?
Submitting an application does not automatically reserve a production slot. If your application is accepted, we will send you a quotation by email. Your commission will be added to the production schedule after you accept the quotation and we receive the 40% deposit.
How is the production schedule decided?
After responding to all commission applications, we arrange the schedule for all accepted projects together. We usually plan a large portion of the coming year at once.
Scheduling is not strictly first come, first served. The order is determined according to our overall production plan, project requirements, and available production capacity. Please allow sufficient waiting time before your project begins.
How long does production take?
Estimated production time begins when active production starts, not when the application, scheduling fee, or deposit is submitted.
Head only: approximately 2–3 weeks
Partial suit: approximately 3–5 weeks
Full suit: approximately 5–8 weeks
These estimates apply to projects of standard complexity. Complex designs, special structures, unusual materials, or additional details will be evaluated individually, and the expected timeline will be discussed before production.
If the schedule changes, we will notify you as soon as possible.
What are the payment schedule and accepted payment methods?
A 40% deposit is required after the commission details and quotation are confirmed. The remaining 60% balance and shipping cost must be paid in full before shipment. We do not offer installment plans.
For international clients, we accept bank transfers. Clients in mainland China may pay through WeChat Pay or Alipay.
What happens if I reply or submit information late?
Production depends on timely communication, payment, measurements, reference materials, and approvals.
If the client delays submitting information, making a payment, confirming the production plan, or replying for an extended period, the production schedule and estimated completion date will be postponed accordingly.
Can I request changes during production?
Reference artwork, fur colors, materials, and the overall production plan will be confirmed before production begins.
Minor adjustments may be possible during production. However, major structural or design changes requested after the production plan has been approved may require an additional fee, extend the schedule, or be declined if they are no longer practical.
Will I receive progress updates?
Yes. We provide updates at important production stages. The exact update points may vary depending on the type and structure of the project.
We do not provide daily updates, as uninterrupted production time is necessary to maintain an efficient workflow. If an unexpected issue affects the schedule, we will inform you promptly.
Do I need to provide a DTD or body measurements?
For a full suit, a DTD or detailed body measurements will usually be required according to our instructions.
For a head-only or partial suit commission, basic measurements may still be required depending on the included parts.
The client is responsible for providing accurate measurements. Fitting problems caused by incorrect or outdated measurements are not considered workmanship defects.
How is quality checked?
Before completion, each project goes through several inspections, including:
Structural stability
Sewing and seam inspection
Material and detail inspection
Movement and fit checks where applicable
Final cleaning and finishing
We prioritize structural stability, durability, clean construction, and long-term wearability.
How are international orders shipped?
International orders are shipped through FedEx with the assistance of a third-party logistics provider. The logistics provider handles the relevant export and customs-clearance arrangements according to its own procedures.
Once the parcel has been dispatched, we will provide the tracking number. Customs processing and transit time are not included in the production estimate and are outside our direct control.
Do you provide warranty or repair support?
We provide 30-day workmanship support beginning from the date of delivery.
If you believe there is a workmanship defect, please contact us within 30 days and provide clear photographs or videos. After reviewing the issue, we may offer remote guidance, replacement materials, or a repair solution depending on the circumstances.
International returns are not automatic and must be discussed and approved in advance. Any return or repair shipping arrangements will be determined case by case.
Workmanship support does not cover:
Normal wear and tear
Fitting problems caused by inaccurate measurements or DTD
Damage caused by misuse, improper cleaning, or improper storage
Unauthorized alterations or repairs
Damage caused during shipping
Natural aging or deterioration of materials
Repair requests made after the support period may still be considered as paid repair work, subject to our availability and evaluation.
How is my personal and measurement data handled?
Measurement information, including DTD files, is used only for the production of your commission.
After the project has been completed, sensitive measurement data will be deleted. Necessary project records, payment records, and non-sensitive production information may be retained for administrative and after-sales purposes.
